Hilton DFW Lakes is next to Grapevine Lake, less than a mile from Grapevine Mills Mall, LEGOLAND®, and SEA LIFE Grapevine Aquarium. Historic downtown Grapevine is a short drive. Our free 24-hour shuttle service will take you to DFW International Airport in 10 minutes. We have a tennis court, jogging trails, and an outdoor pool. Enjoy all-day dining at our restaurants.

Hotel guest room check out is 2p.m. on Sunday for our group.

How Do I Register?

~VIP Registration is Open October 1-5, 2022    ~Regular Registration opens October 6, 2022

~Tuition for the Summer 2023 Retreat is $595

Note: You can pay in full at Registration or opt to send a Non-Refundable Deposit of $200.00. Should you choose to reserve your spot with payment of Deposit, it is due upon Registration.  Your spot is not reserved until your Deposit is received.

You can register online here: REGISTER NOW. Tuition payment is by check or PayPal. A PayPal generated processing fee for this service will be included on your Registration Total.

If paying by check, please make your check out to Heart of Texas Bead Retreat and mail to: PO Box 928 Georgetown, TX 78627. Contact Sally Custer for payment questions and/or further information. A portion of your payment is non-refundable – for full details see Cancellation Policy at the bottom of this page.

NOTE:  Wait List spots will be released February 2, 2023. If you accept a Wait List spot, you will be expected to process immediate payment in full through PayPal. Thank you!

Deposit is $200.00 Due upon Registration. If not received within 10 days of Registration, your registration will be cancelled.

Tuition Balance Due for Summer 2023: February 1, 2023

Failure to remit Final Payment by due date will result in forfeiture of deposit and your registration will be cancelled; your spot will be released to the Wait List on February 2, 2023. Do not depend on reminder emails! Although I do send out Reminders, these are auto generated by the website registration software and could be rejected by your email server. Please contact Sally Custer for additional payment questions and/or further information.

What should I bring?

Each instructor will have kits available for purchase.  If the Workshop is not Kit Mandatory, a Materials List will be available and an access code will be sent to you via email when you register. Wild Beads Bead Store will have supplies for the classes as well as a wide variety of beads, tools and supplies for sale during Marketplace hours.

You should bring tools and supplies as required in each Workshop Description for which you are registered. These are the recommendations of the instructor who has designed the project and are the tools & supplies they used in creating the design. Check the Workshop page and when you get to class, check your project instructions, to make sure you have everything you need.

PLEASE NOTE: New this year! You will need to bring battery-operated or rechargeable task lamp as power strips will not be allowed.

Will there be breaks?

Please feel free to take a break and move around whenever needed. All day beverages will be served in the Delaney Foyer.

Will there be a place to visit and bead after hours?

The Community Beading Room will open at 8:00 a.m. and remain open throughout the day – After class hours it will remain open until 10:00 p.m. or at such time everyone has left for the day. You are welcome to join friends, visit and bead.

Community Beading Room is the Delaney Room.

What if I need to cancel?

Cancellation Policy:

A deposit of $200.00 is due upon Registration. Your spot is not reserved until your Deposit is received. Deposit is Non-Refundable and Transferable only as part of a fully paid registration. Fully paid, registered spaces are transferable; Heart of Texas will make every effort to find a replacement from the Wait List. If no one is available on the Wait List, it is your responsibility to find a replacement for your spot in the Retreat in order to have your payment refunded; your refund will be processed upon full payment by replacement attendee. Note: Should you sell your spot directly to a replacement attendee for a discounted rate, Heart of Texas Bead Retreat will not refund to you any portion of your paid registration.

Final Tuition Payment is due February 1, 2023. For Paid-In-Full registrations – Cancellations prior to February 1, 2023, a 50% refund of Tuition (less non-refundable deposit). For Cancellations after February 1, 2023, no refund is given.

Heart of Texas Bead Retreat reserves the right to cancel this Retreat if the minimum number of students are not registered by April 1, 2023 and will then return all money paid at that time to registered participants less credit card/Paypal process fees, if applicable, not to exceed $50 per registrant.

If the event is cancelled due to acts of God, government regulations, natural catastrophe, terrorist act, curtailment of transportation, or any other situation making it inadvisable or illegal, Heart of Texas Bead Retreat will be liable only for applying tuition fees to a future event, less the non-refundable deposit. It is strongly recommended students obtain Cancellation and/or Travel insurance. Thistlewerk LLC, Sally Custer or any of our subsidiaries cannot be held responsible for cancellation for any reason.

By registering for this retreat, you are agreeing to the cancellation policy as stated herein on the FAQ page in detail. Further policy information can be found in the Terms & Conditions.

By participating in this event, you agree to hold Heart of Texas Bead Retreat harmless in any way for any claim for injury, loss or damage to you or any person accompanying you. You also give consent to The Heart of Texas Bead Retreat to use photos taken of you during the retreat as publicity for future retreats and promotional materials.
