Be sure to select strongly contrasting colors… I really like using shiny beads for this project, but if you want a softer look, frosted bead finishes work well too.
11/0 Delicas – 2 contrasting colors:
Main color = 4 grams
Accent Color = 2 grams
15/0 Seed Beads – used for edging and embellishment: approx. 100-150 beads
(I sometimes use two different colors – one that matches the main color, one that matches the accent color. OR, you can use a totally different color and match your Bicones as shown in the Christmas colored star in the photo.)
24 ~ 3mm Bicones (can be Preciosa or Chinese)
